Benjamin Clementine

Mercury Prize winner Benjamin Clementine announces his fourth and final album, Sir Introvert and the Featherweights, which will be released on 14 February 2025 for Preserve Artists. To celebrate the release, Clementine will embark on a short and selected tour in the US, then continue in the UK and Europe between March and April. This album is Clementine’s farewell to music, since she intends to dedicate herself to cinema, in which she has already starred in award-winning films such as Dune and Blitz.

The album reflects Clementine’s growth as an artist and producer, with themes ranging from marriage to family reconciliation, explored with her typical baritone voice and experimental style. Recorded between Santa Monica and Ojai in California, Los Angeles, London, Florence and Rome, the album is a tribute to life and freedom, with a balance between technical precision and the authenticity of human imperfection.
