Le Luci Della Centrale Elettrica
Le Luci
Della Centrale Elettrica is a sparsely arranged, folk-influenced indie rock
project by Italian singer/songwriter Vasco Brondi. After creating a self-titled demo in 2007,
his 2008 debut album, Canzoni da Spiaggia
Deturpata, was released by La Tempesta Dischi. Produced by Giorgio Canali, it won a prestigious Targa Tenco award for
Best Debut. Extensive touring with a full band followed, including opening
slots with Subsonica and Blonde Redhead. His sophomore album, Per ora noi la chiameremo felicità,
followed in 2010. The next
year, he toured in support of Jovanotti to stadium crowds and released the EP C'eravamo abbastanza amati on XL Repubblica. In 2013, he began
work on an album with Federico Dragogna of post-grunge band Ministri. Titled Costellazioni, it was released in 2014 and
climbed to number two on Italy's album chart. In 2017 will be released his new
album titled Terra.
